Songwriters Exchange Concert Series: Performances by area singer/songwriters- come explore the creative process during an evening of listening and conversation between audience members and this month's performers:
Bob Warren, Deb Cavanaugh and Greg van Houten. A songwriter and performer for more than thirty-years, Bob Warren has been on the road bringing his emotionally charged and lyrically astute songs to appreciative audiences throughout North America in venues ranging from coffeehouses like The Caffè Lena (Saratoga Springs, NY) and The Turning Point (Piermont, NY) to outdoor festivals and house concerts. Deb Cavanaugh, the recipient of a "Meet the Composers" grant, was recently a semi-finalist in the annual national JPFolks lyric contest. Deb performs at venues such as Caffè Lena and other coffeehouses in the greater Albany area and teaches songwriting workshops for young people at various summer camps, libraries and schools. Living in Southern VT for over 15 years, Greg brings his brand of Americana and folk-rock to small venues in the area with occasional forays into the greater Northeast region.
